Whilst we designed and introduced the first commercially available domestic Wormery in Europe (and indeed the world) and devised and trade marked the word Wormery itself, we are not a company to sit back and rest on our laurels.

Although we believe that the trio of wormeries in our classic range are unrivalled in their performance and efficiency compared to others, dual chamber is not the only excellent design for good worm composting.

The two main limitations of the classic design are simply that they are a fixed size and they require a little bit of effort to harvest the solid compost every several months or so. Our excellent square-tray design multiple-tray wormery, The Tiger Wormery, resolves both these issues for just a little extra investment.

Firstly we offer them in standard three and four tray options and additional trays can, of course, always be purchased and added to your wormery. So your wormery can grow with your needs. Secondly as each tray is perforated and sits neatly on the compost/ organic waste in the tray below there is no gap to impede the upward migration of the food seeking worms. So in typical use when the top tray is nearly full the bottom tray should be ready to harvest.

Simply lift off the upper trays, remove the bottom one and use or save the compost and put the other trays and lid back on the base. Your Tiger Wormery stays in continuous use and you now have a supply of rich organic worm compost and a spare empty tray to go back on top of the Wormery when required. As the Meercats say, Simples!

The Tiger Wormery is available in Terracotta, Black or British Racing Green and will cope with the average food waste ourput generated by the average family. The 4-tray version will cope with a touch more than this - although surface area is the major factor.

The Tiger Wormery comes with everything you need, including the Tiger Worms, lime mix, Coir bedding and full instructions.
